Project Overview

November has never operated like a traditional fashion label. It functions somewhere between clothing brand, creative studio, cultural project, and public experiment. Each collection, campaign, event, and product asks the same question:

How can a brand become something people participate in rather than simply consume?

As November’s ongoing creative partner, I have helped build the systems, visuals, products, and experiences that make that participation possible. The work spans digital strategy, multiple website builds and redesigns, campaign direction, social content, packaging, events, set design, production, and the concept-to-market development of The Conversation: 104 Questions for Creatives.

Rather than forcing every expression into one rigid aesthetic, the system gives each project room to become its own world while preserving a recognizable editorial and cultural point of view.

The Challenge

November already had a strong philosophical identity and an expanding range of ambitions. The challenge was creating enough structure to support that growth without flattening the experimentation that made the brand interesting.

The work needed to connect:

  • Fashion collections.
  • Editorial campaigns.
  • Ecommerce.
  • Social storytelling.
  • Events and public activations.
  • Product packaging.
  • Creative community building.
  • A growing network of artists, models, photographers, designers, and sponsors.

The objective was to build a coherent evolution.

The Creative Direction

The creative direction treats November as a continuing publication rather than a static fashion brand. Every collection and activation becomes a new chapter, with its own image world and cultural premise, held together through typography, pacing, editorial restraint, and an emphasis on people over product isolation.

My role has included:

  • Translating broad founder ideas into creative briefs and executable concepts.
  • Developing visual direction for campaigns and digital launches.
  • Designing and evolving the November Online Experience.
  • Directing and shooting brand photography and videography, and selecting final assets.
  • Designing campaign, event, packaging, and social systems.
  • Managing ongoing content and platform expression.
  • Presenting recommendations and protecting cohesion across changing scopes.
